On the afternoon of November 18th, at the invitation of Research Team of Modernising and Renovating Water-saving Irrigation Districts of FIRI, professor Shi Liangsheng of Wuhan University, associate professor Zhang Chao and associate professor Sun Bin of Zhengzhou University came to our institute for academic exchange visits. Assistant Director Wang Jinglei extended a warm welcome to the visit of the experts. Professor Lv Mouchao, the chief of the irrigation districts team, presided over the exchange and symposium.

During the academic exchange, professor Shi Liangsheng, associate professor Zhang Chao, and associate professor Sun Bin made reports on "Farmland Perception Intelligence and Cognitive Intelligence", "Crack Identification Using Dynamic Extended finite Element Method and the Interface Strength Model of Fiber-reinforced Composites" and Academician Wang Fuming’s new material creation work, and  "Research Progress on Flow Measurement Mechanism and Hydraulic Characteristics of Common Water Measuring Buildings in Irrigation Districts". Subsequently, professor Lv Mouchao introduced the team's technological innovation and achievement transformation to the participating experts in detail, and consulted experts on the "14th Five-Year Plan" technological development plan of the irrigation districts team. Both sides stated that they will make full use of their respective advantages to strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
