Biography
Graduating from Henan Agricultural University in July 2006, Zhenjie Du obtained his Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, majoring in Agricultural Resources and Environment. In July 2009, he graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University, majoring in Soil Science, with a Master's degree in Agriculture. In December 2016, he got his Doctor's degree in Agriculture from Nanjing Agricultural University. In July 2009, he joined FIRI as a staff member. He put forward the suitable irrigation system and optimal combination model of water and nitrogen for piggery wastewater in winter wheat-summer maize rotation farmland. He found that piggery wastewater irrigation could promote the mineralization and release of soil nitrogen and revealed the driving factors and regulatory mechanism of nitrogen mineralization. By studying transcriptome of wheat with different cadmium accumulation, he initially revealed the physiological barrier mechanism and related metabolic pathways of wheat to cadmium stress.
