Biography

Xiangyang Fan graduated from Northwest A&F University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Water Resource Planning and Utilization. In 2011, he graduated from North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, majoring in Agricultural Water and Soil Engineering, with a Master's degree in Engineering. He has been mainly engaged in the theoretical and technical research of agricultural water resources and water environment, including the mechanism and regulation of the migration and transformation of typical pollutants in the safety utilization of unconventional water resources, environmental impact assessment, unconventional water safety irrigation technology, irrigation area/area multi-irrigation water source allocation method and technology, etc. At present, he is in charge of the national Natural Science Foundation of China general project "Effects of Nitrogen and Potash Fertilizer on Heavy Metal Migration Characteristics of Soil under Reclaimed Water Irrigation and Its Regulation Mechanism (51479201)" and the Science and Technology Innovation Engineering funded project of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences "Long-term Environmental Effects and Risk Assessment of Unconventional Water Irrigation".
