Biography

Jiyang Zhang is mainly engaged in research on the theory and technology of water deficit irrigation, crop water information collection and diagnosis of water shortage. During the 12th Five-Year Plan, he has presided over two special scientific research projects in the public interest industry (agriculture) and the national scientific research project in the public interest industry—"Research and Demonstration of Wheat and Corn Farmland Water-Saving Technology in the South-Central Huang-Huai Region" and "Research on Soil Moisture Monitoring and Efficient Water Use Management Technology".
