Biography
During 1986-1990, Mouchao Lv studied in the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering in Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering, obtaining Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in 1990. From 2001 to 2004, he studied in Wuhan University, majoring in Water Conservancy and Hydropower engineering and got Master’s degree of Engineering. From 2005 to 2008, he studied in the College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering in Northwest A&F University and obtained the Doctor's degree of Agricultural Soil and Water Engineering in 2008. His main research field involves research on and development of micro-irrigation flow regulator, water-saving irrigation technology and equipment development, technology and equipment suitable for field irrigation and drainage, development of irrigation technology, regulation mechanism of subsurface irrigation and water-saving irrigation technology, suburban application of water-saving irrigation technology, modern crop irrigation technology, water efficient irrigation system under different irrigation methods of the main food crop, crop growth water and nutrient soil habitat regulation technology, etc. He has successfully developed field flow regulation technology and supporting equipment suitable for China's national conditions, which is original, advanced and applicable, and have become one of the mainstream supporting products of China's micro-irrigation system.
